The famous world famous Angel of the North .
The Angel of the North is a striking steel sculpture located near Gateshead in northern England. Designed by artist Antony Gormley, it stands 20 metres (66 feet) tall with a wingspan of 54 metres (177 feet), making it one of the largest sculptures in the UK. Completed in 1998, the Angel of the North symbolises the region's industrial heritage and its transition into a new era. Positioned on a hill overlooking the A1 motorway, it is visible to millions of travellers annually, serving as a contemporary landmark and a cultural icon. The sculpture’s weathered steel gives it a rich, earthy appearance that changes with the light, adding to its commanding presence.
Printed on 265gsm ultra white base and stippled lustre paper. Please note that all images are representative and slight variations in prints may occur due to your screen calibration differing from mine slightly. Don't worry though, I do my utmost to ensure the prints are as good as possible before shipping.
Please note:
Any watermarks will not be printed.
Prints are delivered with a small white border around the print. This is intentional and serves a couple of useful purposes:
- Framing Flexibility: It makes matting and framing easier without cropping the image.
- Protection: It allows for easier and safer handling without touching the printed area.
If you'd prefer your prints without borders, please let me know using the text box next to the print size selection.
