Shuttleworth Success!

🚨🚨🚨 Proud moment alert! 🚨🚨🚨

A couple of months ago, the Shuttleworth Collection put out an invitation for submission to be featured in their upcoming 2022 calendar and I’m pleased to say they chose not one, but three of my images! Also, I’m the only photographer to have more than one image in the calendar, so that’s pretty cool too. 😎

The Collection opened to the public in 1963, with further aircraft and vehicles added over the years. Events that encompass flying displays and vehicle parades draw crowds from all over the world. The Collection’s aircraft and vehicles, as much as possible, are all kept working as intended – it’s where history flies and drives!

The exhibits in the Collection consist of:

✈ Vintage aircraft: 1909-1950s (view the aircraft gallery on their website)

✈ Veteran Vehicles: Edwardian cars, early dogcarts, commercials including buses, and 1930s-1940s cars (view the vehicle gallery on their website)

✈ Classic Motorcycles: including a rare 1904 Aurora (view the motorcycle gallery on their website)

✈ Veteran bicycles: including a penny farthings and a boneshaker (view the bicycle gallery on their website)

✈ Industrial Heritage exhibits: Steam engine, working Chaff Cutter, living van and tractors (view the industrial heritage gallery on their website)

Kudos to the other photographers as well! There are some fantastic photographs in the calendar, as you can see from the image of the calendar back!

All the best,

Olly
