Last weekend, I once again found myself exploring Liverpool’s iconic waterfront at Pier Head and the Albert Dock, under the brilliant sunshine armed with my Nikon Zf and a 24-70 f4 shooting it in monochrome. This part of Liverpool is one of my favourite places to photograph. The architecture around this part of the city is fantastic and there’s always a great atmosphere. The architectural mix works really well. The newer ferry terminal and the Museum of Liverpool combined with the Leeds-Liverpool Canal cut and the Three Graces. The three main buildings at Pier Head in Liverpool are collectively known as the Three Graces, and consist of the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building, and the Port of Liverpool Building.
If you're ever stuck for a few hours in Liverpool (which is unlikely!), then a walk around Pier Head and the Albert Dock is a great way to spend your time!
All the best,
Olly
