I made a short film whilst shooting Cauldron Falls in the North Yorkshire Moors recently, which I visited mainly to test out my Sinar 150mm large format lens. I also took along my faithful Nikon FE and my older 50mm f1.8D lens, loaded with Fomapan 400.
Both the HP5+ and the Fomapan 400 were developed ink 510 Pyro, the HP5+ being semi-stand developed for 13 mins 45s and the Fomapan 400 developed with the standard Ilford Agitation method for 9mins. I wasn't too keen on the Fomapan 400 images, in smaller 135 format they tend to not be quite as good as I like, but I was pleased with the HP5, particularly the deeper tones and overall contrast.
As ever, thanks for watching, and feel free to comment, like the vid, or subscribe. Cheers
