Welcome to FilmVault, my service dedicated to breathing new life into your old negatives and slides.
All around the country are shoe boxes and slide cases full of old slides, negatives, and prints but accessing these in a modern digital era is becoming increasingly difficult. Not everyone has the time, equipment, or inclination to learn how to take an old negative and make a print from it, or to be able to share them with family and friends around the world. As a photographer and self-confessed film nut, I understand the value of capturing and preserving memories, and I’ve built FilmVault as an extension of my photography work to help you do just that with your own slides, negatives, and photographs.
I love seeing films and slides, particularly really old ones which were taken many decades ago. I love seeing how people, streets, cars, clothings have all changed over the years, and my love of this sparked the idea for FilmVault. Using the same professional-grade equipment I use for my own negatives, I will digitise:

Your scanned images will be delivered securely via cloud storage, ready for sharing or printing yourself, and I'll post or deliver your original slides/negatives back to you for £4.99, or for free on orders over £30.

I will ensure colours of slide film is matched as closely as possible using professional-grade colour-balanced screens, and, where printed, prepared and produced with the correct profile for the paper stock used. Negatives are processed to positives before I send you the file and print where requested. I use 265gsm Satin Inkjet Paper for all prints, ensuring your photos look their absolute best.
