1:1 Introduction to Film, with free film and developing!

What You'll Experience In this personalised workshop, you'll get a hands-on introduction to film photography, including:

• Learning the Basics of Black and White Film: I'll explain how film works, what makes it unique, and why many photographers still choose film over digital.
• Photowalk with Expert Guidance: We'll take a stroll through a location, where I'll show you the ropes of framing, composition, and camera settings. You'll have the chance to capture your own images on film with my guidance. 
• Understanding Film Speed and Exposure: I'll explain film speed, how to choose the right ISO, and tips for getting the perfect exposure in different lighting conditions.
• Exploring Advanced Techniques: I'll explain what pushing and pulling film is, why photographers do it, and the effects these techniques have on your final images.

What You Get Your workshop fee includes:

• Two FREE Rolls of Film: I'll chuck in two rolls of 35mm film for you for free! 
• Film Development and Scanning: I'll develop your film, scan the negatives, and provide you with digital copies. You can easily share your images online or print them for your portfolio.
• Negative Storage and Delivery: After the workshop, I'll send you your negatives in archival sleeves, so you can keep them safe for years to come.
• Loan of a 35mm camera: I can loan you a camera for the duration of the workshop if you don't already have one, or need to borrow one for whatever reason, however I will need a deposit for this. Details on request.

The date, time, and location is flexible and we'll agree this once you're all booked in. Photowalks usually last between 2 and 3 hours, but this will be flexible on the day.
